Dip into the winter wonderland of the Villnöß pastures, walking and skiing on well-kept trails or snowshoeing through the dreamlike world of the Puez Geisler Nature Park.
Without much ado you can reach comfortable alpine huts, where you can something to eat even in winter. And then back to the valley by sledge. Whether in broad daylight or at night under the star-spangled sky — it always will be a special experience
There is a small ski-area in the centre of St. Magdalena where you can learn skiing in a playful way. Otherwise you can reach the large-scale ski-area ”Plose” in 20 minutes: Trails for walking and skiing, a fun park for freestylers, and South Tyrol’s longest downhill slope wait for you.
Of course, cross-country skiing is also possible in the Villnöß valley. You might warm up on the unambitious trail on the Zanseralm — and then up the hill, to the famous Würzjoch pass …
